Viburnum – half a kilo
Water – 2 cups
Sugar – 200 grams
How to cook viburnum compote
Method 1 .
1. Rinse viburnum under running water, put in a colander to drain excess water.
2. Put viburnum in a jar.
3. Prepare syrup: pour water into a saucepan, put sugar and put the saucepan on a quiet fire.
4. As the syrup heats up, dissolve the sugar in the water while stirring.
5. Cook after boiling the syrup for 1 minute, carefully pour the viburnum syrup in a jar.
6. In a large saucepan (not lower than the level of the jar), put a towel, put the jar and pour water at the temperature of the jar over the shoulders of the jar.
7. Put the pan on a very quiet fire, bring the water to 85 degrees and boil the compote in the jar at this temperature for 10 minutes.
8. Screw the compote with a lid, cool and put away for storage.
Method 2 .
1. Wash and dry viburnum.
