Select fresh berries, wash and put in a colander for 5 minutes to glass the water.
Pour water into a saucepan, bring it to a boil and hold the berries for a couple of 3 minutes.
Mash currants with a wooden spoon or mortar. Squeeze out the juice.
Add currant pomace to a saucepan with boiled water, cook for 10 minutes over low heat under a lid.
Then turn off the heat, add squeezed juice, sugar to the pan and cover with a lid. Let it brew for half an hour.
Serve with pleasure and ice.

Frozen currants – half a kilo
Sugar or honey – half a glass
Lemon juice – from half a lemon
Mint – a few leaves
Water – 1 liter
How to cook frozen currants
Pour water into a saucepan, bring to a boil. Frozen currants, without defrosting, chop. Put the chopped currants in water, add herbs and sugar, boil for a couple of minutes. Infuse currant juice for 2 hours. Then strain the juice.
Serve frozen currant juice chilled.
