Tasty Facts

– For frying, it is better to use green, fairly dense (but not hard) ripe pears of the Conference, Lucas or Komis varieties.

– It is allowed to replace butter with peanut or any other odorless vegetable oil.

– The dessert will acquire an original sweet-salty taste if you replace the cinnamon with blue cheese : put a piece of cheese in the recess from the seed box and let it melt, and then sprinkle the halves with sugar.

– In the recess of ready, but cooled, fried pears, you can put a little of any ice cream – creamy or fruit.

– Pears can be fried by cutting the fruit into slices , while reducing the frying time to 3 minutes.
