How to fry asp with garlic
Products
Asp – 1.5 kilograms
Butter – 60 grams
Vegetable oil – 200 milliliters
Lemon – half
Garlic – 2 large teeth
Corn flour – 120 grams
Salt – half a teaspoon
Pepper – to taste
How to fry asp with garlic
1. Peel asp from scales , remove the head, tail, fins, entrails.
2. Wash the peeled asp outside, inside, dry with napkins.
3. Cut the asp into steaks with a knife – transverse pieces a couple of centimeters wide.
4. Squeeze juice from half a lemon with your hands or a citrus juicer.
5. Salt and pepper the asp fillet, brush with lemon juice, set aside for 20 minutes.
6. Chop the peeled garlic.
7. Pour cornmeal onto a flat plate.
8. Roll each steak in cornmeal on both sides.
9. Place the pan over medium heat, pour in vegetable oil, put a cube of butter.
10. Heat the pan so that the butter melts.
11. Fry asp steaks for 8-10 minutes on each side.
12. Put the prepared asp steaks on a dish in one layer, sprinkle evenly with garlic.

– Asp is a fish of the carp family. The usual size is up to 80 kilograms with a weight of 1.5-2 kilograms. It has a dark bluish-gray back, silvery sides, a white belly.
– The name of the fish asp is popularly associated with the word “voracity”, from the word “fat”. There are varieties of the name – zherikh, whiteness, cherech, whiteness, Aral asp, red-lipped asp, sheresper.
– Asp has three varieties : Aral, common, red-lipped. The Aral asp is distinguished only by its habitat – the Aral Sea, and the red-lipped one differs from the ordinary one by red-colored lips. In general, all varieties of asp are similar.
– In Karelia, asp is listed in the Red Book. In this region, it is very rare, in the rest it is quite widespread and does not have a conservation status.
