Tasty Facts

– Minced meat for homemade sausages turns out to be more soaked and homogeneous if you leave it in the refrigerator not for a couple of hours, but overnight.

– When stuffing the intestines with minced meat, make sure that no bubbles form inside and the sausage is not packed with minced meat very tightly. This is very important so that the sausage does not get shriveled and that the intestines do not burst during cooking.
