How long to cook bolognese sauce?

Cook the bolognese sauce for 2.5 hours.

Original bolognese sauce

Products
Ground beef – 250 grams
Pork mince – 250 grams
Pancetta (spicy salted bacon) – 100 grams
Onion – 1 head
Carrots – 1 piece
Garlic – 2 cloves
Celery – 1 stalk
Olive oil – 1 tablespoon
Butter – 1 tablespoon
Milk – 1 glass
Dry wine – 1 glass
Tomato paste – 2 tablespoons
Canned tomatoes – 800 grams
Mixture of peppers – 2 teaspoons

How to cook bolognese
1. Finely chop the pancetta.
2. Peel and finely chop the onion and garlic, peel and grate the carrots on a coarse grater.
3. Add butter to the pan, put on a quiet fire and melt.
4. Add onions, garlic, carrots and pancetta, fry for 10 minutes.
5. Add minced meat, mix well with vegetables.
6. Pour in the milk, increase the heat, bring the bolognese to a boil and cook for 10-15 minutes – the milk should be absorbed into the meat.
7. Pour in the wine, bring to a boil and boil for another 10-15 minutes.
8. Add tomato paste and canned tomatoes (crush the tomatoes with a spoon).
9. Add 2.5 cups of water, spices and salt.
10. Reduce the heat to a minimum, cover with a lid and cook the sauce for 2 hours, stirring every 15 minutes.
11. Add salt and pepper to taste.
Serve over pasta with grated Parmesan cheese.

Store Bolognese in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
